AJ Winter specialise in the sympathetic restoration, conservation and renovation of historic, listed and period homes.

With 29 years experience in historic building conservation, and having worked for some of the country's leading conservation companies, we are highly experienced in the use, making and application of lime putty and quicklime (hotlime) plasters, insulating lime hemp and perlite plasters, and lime bedding or pointing mortars. We also undertake brick & stone repointing work, apply hot lime washes, distempers & mineral paints, and façade cleaning and paint removal using Restorative Techniques' Thermatech system.​
